Visually capture ephemeral moments of awe or timeless moments of a summer forest through the installation of large format double sided paintings that will be installed in an outdoor public setting. They will be visual portals into different locations and times. Although the paintings will be stand alone art pieces the viewer is invited to approach the painting and explore the surface with their own digital device by reading near-field communication tags embedded into the surface of the painting. The NFC tags will connect to additional virtual content, with each side of the painting having a minimum of seven NFC tags.

       Near Field Communication Tags are not visible in the painting, but through touch less tech they link to content that explains more about the process and reasoning behind the paintings creation.
